Akropolis in Hemer

Total flop !! The meat on the grill plate from gyros was definitely from the day before. Totally dry it had nothing to do with the Greek food. Never again.

Ordered again, the food was delicious and the delivery was super fast.

Super nice little snack bar, from 4 people it gets cozy. The gyros tastes great, apart from the tzatziki which is very tasty. Prices are ok for the really good portions. When there is a lot going on and one order after the other comes in, the friendliness unfortunately falls by the wayside. Still very cool shop.

I think everything is right here. The store is very clean. The food fresh and delicious. I am always well fed here especially the coleslaw is very tasty and the salad that you can eat in Hemer to go is by far the best.

We had dinner with some friends today and it was really delicious. Extensive menu and something for everyone. A little tip: The baked sheep's cheese has it all! Except for the parking I have nothing to complain about here.

The food here tastes very good! Starting with the spice mixture up to the delicious fries I can recommend everything here. In addition, the price is very good, for a souvlaki plate. The service is really friendly and also helps with any questions. I can only recommend. 5 stars, everything is really good and exceptional here.

The new snack bar is the maker of the popular Acropolis restaurant in Hemer. Visually, he is made quite appealing, it shows a modern style (maybe a bit cheesy), but really an asset to Hemers downtown (parking lot is correspondingly bad). The map is clear and Greek - as expected, is a lot about gyros (pig and chicken, unfortunately, at 18 o'clock pig is already out). We actually had something of everything and were disappointed with the mother's shop. Yes, the packaging is cool! But the quantity ratio, especially with the grill plate was bad. Tzaziki seems to be a scarce commodity, because it is extensively saved. Also the meat (three skewers, very small) was of the quality and the quantity not according to our expectations. For just under 10 € one expects at least to get full, especially in the Greek. Maybe these are the initial difficulties, so you should give it another chance. So that was definitely disappointing 🤔 Currently, I prefer the classic, Greek snack. PS: I would leave this pita bread completely, it will be so soft and humid in the box - rather pack some more Tzatziki or better meat (grilled plate without gyros?!) Pure👍🏻
